As a keen
shopper (you’d never have guessed) and a lover of words, I thought it was time
I adapted some well known sayings to suit the shopping community.
A stitch in
time robs me of a new outfit.
All that
glitters is probably covered in those annoying little sequins that shed a trail
everywhere.
Look before
you sign the 12-month contract.
Birds of a
feather wear the latest fashion trend whether it flatters their figure or not.
Beauty is
in the pot of ‘miracle’ cream.
Killer
heels go before a fall.
A deal in
the hand is worth two entries to the prize draw (at least).
There is a
time and a sale for everything.
